Scope of CALL-EJ

With a major focus on computer-assisted language learning (CALL), CALL-EJ solicits and welcomes articles and reviews on research and practice in the fields of computer-assisted instruction (CAI) / computer-managed instruction (CMI) / computer-assisted learning (CAL) / computer-enhanced language learning (CELL) / computer-mediated communication (CMC) in ESL, EFL or other languages. Contributions to second language acquisition and computers, language assessment and computers, applied linguistics and computers, and other related areas are also encouraged.

CALL-EJ was indexed by Scopus, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature.
June 7, 2013
A new ISSN (2187-9036) for CALL-EJ was issued by ISSN Japan Center.
June 17, 2011
CALL-EJ was indexed by European Reference Index for the Humanities (ERIH).
July 1st, 2010
CALL-EJ Online became CALL-EJ and its Website was relocated on a new server.
February 5th, 2010
The top page design for CALL-EJ Online was changed and also the site search was added to the Website.
Dec. 27, 2009
The server was shut down due to the annual blackout on the campus server. Therefore, CALL-EJ Online was not available from the afternoon of Dec. 26 until the morning of Dec. 28.

The location of the server with a new domain name for the journal was changed.

The design of the site was changed again.

CALL-EJ Online was on the Windows 2000 Server at Nozawa Research Laboratory at Ritsumeikan University, Japan. Due to the change of the server into Windows 2003 R2 Server, the site was temporarily unavailable.
